The Colonnade podcasts begin this Friday.

You can subscribe by going to The Colonnade’s website www.gcsunade.com and clicking the Podcasts link on the left.

My government and public affairs reporting class will begin its two podcasts with The Colonnade this Friday, Sept. 15.

The first podcast is “Paws to Listen” and is an interview series with prominenet people around the campus and Milledgeville community. Students take turns interviewing people in GCSU administration, Milledgeville city government, local law emforcement, and Student Government Association. New episodes will air each Wednesday and Friday.

The second podcast is the “Public Safety Report”. The Colonnade summarizes crime briefs in each week’s newspaper. Readership surveys show this is the most heavily read section of the newspaper. The podcast will include a reading of the print briefs and will also feature additional reports that just didn’t make the cut. New episodes will air each Friday The Colonnade publishes.
